Yes, the standard boat day trip covers both: 2.5h in Positano, 2h in Amalfi, with a swim stop in between. Comfortable, not rushed.
Is the sea OK on Wednesday?
Wave height 0.4m, wind 8 knots from the south. Boats are running normally. The morning slot will be the smoothest.
What is the last ferry back from Amalfi?
Today the last ferry to Sorrento leaves Amalfi at 17:50 (operator Travelmar). On Sundays the last one is 16:35. Want me to hold a return seat?
Is Ravello worth the extra detour?
If you have a road trip with a driver, yes. From sea level it is a 30-minute bus ride uphill. Villa Cimbrone alone is worth the day.
