Pro tip for an adrenaline-packed start: Rent a kayak at the port and paddle to the White Grotto before starting your island trek. You’ll be among the few to see it before the crowds arrive!

But now, let’s focus. Your first challenge of the day is reaching the highest point of the island: Monte Solaro.

From Capri’s port, take the bus to Anacapri, the quieter, more authentic side of the island. Once there, hop on the chairlift and leave the city noise behind. You’ll find yourself gliding silently above the landscape. Below, Anacapri’s rooftops shrink, lemon terraces fade into the vegetation, and the sea stretches endlessly to the horizon, shifting from deep blue to emerald green.

Your footsteps echo on stone polished by centuries of travelers, while breathtaking views open up to cliffs plunging into hidden coves.

The first stop: Belvedere del Pizzolungo. Here, you stand between sky and sea, with the iconic Faraglioni before you, like stone giants rising from the waves. The wind rushes past, carrying the scent of salt and maritime pines.

The second stop: Matermania Cave. A cavern carved into the rock, once the site of ancient, mysterious rituals. The echo of your footsteps bounces off the walls, the cool shade embraces you.
