Terms and Condition
The following conditions govern the transport of passengers and their personal belongings on board the vessels operated by Coastrider’s partner companies. Purchasing a ticket through the platform implies full acceptance of the stated conditions, as indicated on the travel ticket.
1. Preamble
Coastrider is a digital platform that allows users to browse, compare, and purchase tickets for maritime transport operated by affiliated shipping companies. By using the services offered, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
2. Role of Coastrider
Coastrider acts as an intermediary in the sale of tickets. The transportation contract is considered to be concluded between the user and the chosen shipping company. Therefore, Coastrider is not responsible for the execution of the transportation service or for any delays, cancellations, or changes to the routes.
3. Purchase and Confirmation
The purchase procedure is carried out online. After payment, the user receives the electronic ticket or a booking summary via email. It is the user’s responsibility to check the entered data before confirmation.
4. Changes and Cancellations
Any request for modification or cancellation is subject to the conditions of the chosen shipping company. Coastrider may apply a handling fee for each request, visible before confirmation. In case of a refund, any bank charges will not be refunded.
5. Information on Schedules and Availability
Schedules, prices, and availability displayed on the platform are provided by the affiliated companies.
Coastrider does not guarantee real-time accuracy, although it strives to keep the information constantly updated.
6. Liability
Coastrider is not responsible for:
• delays or cancellations of the transportation service
• damages, losses, or issues related to the trip
• operational decisions of the shipping company
The user agrees that any complaints related to the trip must be addressed directly to the transport company.
7. Privacy
Users’ personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For any dispute, the Court of Salerno will have jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
