EvoTravel – Coastrider
The project “EvoTravel: Explore the World with Personalized Travel Packages Powered by Artificial Intelligence”, known during its ideation phase by the code name EvoTravel, was developed by @ferry srl, an innovative startup with its operational headquarters in Bagnoli Irpino (AV).
The brand under which the project will be presented to the public is Coastrider.
The initiative was approved for funding within the framework of the public call “Campania Startup 2023”, promoted by the Campania Region and co-financed by the Regional ERDF Program 2021–2027 – Axis I – Action 1.1.3.
Project Overview
The project aims to create a smart digital platform for personalized itinerary planning, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies.
Coastrider will integrate the offer of tourism and maritime transport services, including those from small shipowners, fostering the digitalization of sales processes and the promotion of local tourism.

OR1 – Market analysis and partner engagement strategy
The operation achieved the expected results, leading to the conclusion of numerous strategic partnerships.

OR2 – Web application development
The first prototype will be completed by the end of May 2025.
This version will allow users to search for and book services from affiliated companies, with a single integrated payment.
OR3 – Development of the Artificial Intelligence engine and NLP algorithms
By 2025, the first version of the “Virtual Travel Agent” will be released—a conversational AI system that will assist users in planning their trip and booking services.
The system will be able to understand natural language requests, suggest personalized solutions, and check the availability of services offered by affiliated companies in real time.
It will also guide the customer step by step through to the final stages of the booking process, smoothly leading them to the payment page for a simple, assisted experience.
OR4 – Testing and customer acquisition strategy
During the summer of 2025, testing with real users will begin, with the aim of optimizing every aspect of the user experience to increase the conversion rate.
The customer acquisition strategy includes a physical promotion campaign, with QR codes placed in strategic locations (buses, stations, Vesuviana trains) to encourage offline customers to discover and use the Coastrider platform.
