Positano adventures

Welcome, explorer riders!
If for you, traveling means adventure, adrenaline, and a deep connection with nature, then Positano is the perfect starting point for a true explorer’s day.
With scenic trails, sea caves, and dives into crystal-clear waters, here’s an itinerary that will take you to discover the wildest side of the Amalfi Coast.

Forget the car and take the ferry
Forget the car and hop on a ferry: the view of the approaching coastline, the cliffs plunging into the sea, and the colorful silhouette of Positano will instantly fill you with energy.
Once you dock, there’s no time to waste! Fuel up with a quick but delicious breakfast: a crispy sfogliatella and a strong coffee... and off you go! For trekking enthusiasts, this is an absolute must: the Path of the Gods, one of the most spectacular trails in the world.
It starts in Nocelle, a hamlet of Positano reachable by bus or by conquering 1,500 stone steps (challenge accepted?).
From there, the trail winds through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and the endless sea.
Along the way, you’ll find ancient farmhouses, natural caves, and panoramic spots perfect for epic photos.
Pro tip: Bring plenty of water, wear hiking shoes, and start early to avoid the heat and the crowds!
For an extra touch of mystery, take a detour to Montepertuso, a small village famous for its “pierced rock”, a huge natural hole in the mountain. Legend has it that the Virgin Mary challenged the devil here, leaving her mark on the stone.

After trekking, it’s time for an adventure at sea!
Head down to Spiaggia Grande, rent a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and paddle towards the hidden sea caves along the coast.
Must-see spots:
Fornillo Cave & Devil’s Cave: Stunning light effects and secret inlets.
Snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters: Swim among colorful fish and submerged cliffs.
Cliffs around Fornillo: The perfect spots for thrilling cliff jumps!
After all that adventure, you need a meal that energizes without weighing you down. Try: the Caprese sandwich (buffalo mozzarella, tomato, and basil), Eggplant parmigiana or a fried seafood with lemon for those craving a taste of the sea!

In the afternoon, take a small trail leading to Laurito, a secluded cove away from the tourist crowds.
Here, you can relax on the rocks, take one last dip in the turquoise waters or soak in the golden sunset.
If you want to end your adventure in style, stop for an aperitivo with a glass of local wine or a refreshing cocktail, paired with a plate of marinated anchovies.
Positano is not just about romance and relaxation, it’s a perfect mix of trekking, exploration, and adrenaline-pumping experiences.
Whether you want to hike along breathtaking trails, explore sea caves, or challenge the waves on a kayak, here, you’ll always find an experience that makes you feel alive.
See you for the next adventure!
