Forget the car and take the ferry

Forget the car and hop on a ferry: the view of the approaching coastline, the cliffs plunging into the sea, and the colorful silhouette of Positano will instantly fill you with energy.

Once you dock, there’s no time to waste! Fuel up with a quick but delicious breakfast: a crispy sfogliatella and a strong coffee... and off you go! For trekking enthusiasts, this is an absolute must: the Path of the Gods, one of the most spectacular trails in the world.

It starts in Nocelle, a hamlet of Positano reachable by bus or by conquering 1,500 stone steps (challenge accepted?).

From there, the trail winds through the mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast and the endless sea.

Along the way, you’ll find ancient farmhouses, natural caves, and panoramic spots perfect for epic photos.

Pro tip: Bring plenty of water, wear hiking shoes, and start early to avoid the heat and the crowds!

For an extra touch of mystery, take a detour to Montepertuso, a small village famous for its “pierced rock”, a huge natural hole in the mountain. Legend has it that the Virgin Mary challenged the devil here, leaving her mark on the stone.

After trekking, it’s time for an adventure at sea!

Head down to Spiaggia Grande, rent a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and paddle towards the hidden sea caves along the coast.
