From the Center to Marina di Vietri

Easy Trail

It is a short but magical journey that begins with a descent from the center of Vietri. Here, you can feel the town's energy as you walk among its colorful houses, admire the sudden blue glimpses of the sea, and breathe the salty air of the sea-scented alleys. The waterfront is perfect for a relaxing stroll, accompanied by the sound of waves breaking on the shore. Along the way, you'll find small artisan shops where you can hear the clatter of tools and smell the freshly painted ceramics, and gelato shops that tempt you with the scent of lemon and pistachio. Don't miss Crestarella beach, a shimmering, crystalline body of water, and let the legend of the Due Fratelli whisper its ancient story of love and courage as the two rocks rise majestically from the sea.

From Vietri to Albori, Among Vistas, Silence and Bruschetta

This scenic and cultural trek starts in the heart of Vietri and leads you to discover the higher hamlets, such as Raito, where the Museum of Vietri Ceramics will leave you in awe, and then Iaconti, before finally arriving at Albori, one of Italy's most beautiful villages. The path winds along ancient stone steps that will test your muscles and give you a taste of the most authentic atmosphere. You'll feel enveloped by the intense scent of Mediterranean vegetation like myrtle and rosemary as the breeze caresses your face. The alternation of stunning views and tranquil silence will help you reconnect with nature in a meditative and rejuvenating experience. In Albori, reward yourself with a stop at a bruschetteria: not just a snack, but a ritual to be enjoyed slowly. Sit down, savor the crunchy bread and fragrant olive oil, listen to the sounds of nature, and let yourself be enchanted by the view of the gulf unfolding before you.

The Monte Falerio Loop from Sorgente del Cesare

This is a loop that starts from Vietri and ascends to the Sella del Monte Falerio, passing by the historic Sorgente del Cesare (Caesar's Spring). Prepare for a true immersion in the wild and unspoiled nature of the Amalfi Coast, where you'll feel the force of the wind and smell the wet earth. The trail offers breathtaking views, leading you through holm oak woods that provide shelter from the sun and technical rocky passages that will test your endurance. It's not for everyone, but those who tackle it will feel completely revitalized, with tired bodies but free minds. You will also cross areas of the WWF oasis of Parco Croce, where the air is filled with the intense scents of aromatic herbs and the rustling sounds of the undergrowth will accompany you throughout the journey.

Coastrider Tip: Only wear sturdy hiking boots. Bring plenty of water (you can refill at the spring), sunscreen, and a windbreaker jacket. Avoid this trail after heavy rain.
