- You leave Sorrento and sail along the coast seen from the water — the villas, coves and caves you never see from the road — then the boat heads for Capri.
- At the island, the trip to the Faraglioni passes right under the rocks, and there is the stop at the Blue Grotto: entry depends on the sea and the tide that day, and is paid separately to the official rowing boats.
- This is a boat trip from Sorrento with swim stops: the skipper picks the swimming spots according to conditions — sea and wind set the route, and the order of the stops can change.

Capri, from the sea.
The island seen from its best side: the landmarks the Capri boat tour from Sorrento visits, or shows you from the water.

The Faraglioni
The three rock giants that symbolise the island: the boat passes alongside them and, when conditions allow, sails under the arch of the middle one.

The Blue Grotto
The most famous cave in the Mediterranean, with its unreal blue light. Entry depends on the sea that day — and Capri has other, quieter caves too.

Marina Grande
The island's only harbour, with pastel houses and colourful boats — where everyone lands, and the postcard that opens every tour.

The Gardens of Augustus
Capri's most famous viewpoint: the best look at the Faraglioni, if you go ashore in your free time.

Via Krupp
Hairpins carved into the rock dropping to the sea — from the boat you see the whole shape of the path, impossible to take in from land.

The Natural Arch and the coves
The wildest side of the island: rock arches, coves and caves you can only reach from the water — where a boat trip from Sorrento with swim stops is at its best.

A day trip to Anacapri and Capri, with the boat tour around the island
Hotel pick-up at 7:30 and transfer to Sorrento harbour, ferry to Capri and shuttle to Anacapri, about an hour and a half of free time, lunch and two hours for shopping, then the boat tour around the island with commentary from the guide. Back at the hotel around 17:30.
Capri is a must-see
Very well planned and perfectly timed: the early start gets you to the chairlift (not included) before the queues, and it's an extra worth taking. The optional lunch was excellent, with reserved seats and a view. The guide made the day.
