Today we take you on a trail that starts right in Seiano, winds through ancient stone streets, climbs among centuries-old olive trees and lemon groves, and leads up toward the rugged cliffs overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Along the way you’ll breathe sea breeze, hear the wind whisper through macchia mediterranea, and feel the joy of every discovery under your feet.

Arrival in Seiano

Your adventure begins in the heart of Seiano, near the small marina where the ferry docks. From the square you follow a narrow path that leads past the ancient chapel of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a quiet, forgotten jewel where the scent of wild herbs fills the air and the first steps toward nature begin. Leaving the village behind, the trail gently rises and immerses you in rolling slopes dotted with centuries-old olive trees and citrus groves. The path hugs the hillside and opens up to dramatic views of the sea below, every turn a postcard moment for your eyes, no filters needed.

Seiano Panorama

As you ascend through the trail, the panorama expands: the blue of the sea, the distant outline of Sorrento, and the silhouette of Mount Vesuvius on the horizon create a scene that makes every breath count. This is the type of vista that wipes away stress and replaces it with pure wonder.
The highest point of today’s route brings you near the historic Torre di Punta La Guardia, a watchtower that once stood guard over these coasts.The tower connects you to ancient times of lookout and maritime defense.
