Praiano and NaturArte: A Walk Between Sea and Art

Easy Difficulty Trail

This is a walk of about an hour and a half, suitable for everyone, that will take you through a path that winds through the heart of Praiano and touches the soul. Start from Piazzetta Capriglione and, step by step, let yourself be guided by the artistic installations of NaturArte.

Feel the roughness of Lucio Liguori's colorful ceramics and the stories of the sea told by Paolo Sandulli, which seem to whisper with the rustling of the wind.

The walk is gentle, between alleys that open onto sea-view terraces, where the air smells of flowers and salt, and glimpses of daily life that immerse you in the authentic life of the village. The walk can end at La Gavitella Beach, a refuge where you can relax in the sun, feeling the warmth of the pebbles and taking a dip in the crystalline waters to cool off.

Trail of the Flowering Agave

Intermediate Difficulty Trail

This excursion has a duration of about two and a half hours and a length of about 6 km, with an intermediate difficulty level. It's a loop trail that is a symphony of scents and colors.

From the center of Praiano, the climb leads you to the Convento di San Domenico, immersed in the silvery green of olive trees and stone sculptures that seem to dance to the rhythm of nature.

The trail continues, offering the penetrating scent of the Mediterranean scrub—thyme, rosemary, broom—and spectacular views of Positano Bay and the Li Galli archipelago. The descent leads you back to the village, passing through stretches of coast dotted with agaves and prickly pears, whose vibrant flowers contrast with the green vegetation and the blue of the sea.

From Marina di Praia to the Furore Fjord

Expert Trail

Now the game gets tough! This route lasts about four and a half hours, stretching over 10 km, with a high difficulty level, so the route is reserved for experts. This route combines the power of wild nature with the beauty of seaside villages.

From the center of Praiano, you descend to Marina di Praia, a small jewel nestled between high rocky walls, where the sound of the waves crashing on the beach becomes more intense. From here, you continue along the coastal path, enveloped in the smell of salt and the sea breeze, to the Furore Fjord, one of the most iconic places on the Coast, where the rocks tighten in a powerful embrace. The return journey is via internal paths, among terraces, olive groves, and ancient mule tracks, where the effort is rewarded by the quiet and unforgettable panoramas.
