From Salerno, for instance, Vietri is five minutes away by sea: up to seven sailings a day with TraVelMar. By rail, Vietri sul Mare has its own station on the Salerno line, and from the forecourt the centre and the seafront are an easy walk.
If you intend to drive to Vietri, the SS163 coast road begins right here: spectacular, but narrow and heavily used in high season, with limited and costly parking in the centre.
By car
